Hey Day

Playable ad for a 50M+ game, simplifying mechanics for engagement.

I was tasked with creating a playable ad inspired by trending games similar to Hay Day, a popular title with 100+ million downloads and 13.2 million reviews. I began by conducting market research to identify high-performing trends within the genre. After defining a clear direction, I created storyboards, which were approved by my manager before being submitted to Supercell for review. Once the concept was greenlit, I prepared and exported assets for the developers to assemble the playable.

My focus was on designing an engaging gameplay flow that kept players immersed while staying true to the game’s identity and adhering to brand guidelines. I also crafted the UI/UX, ensuring clear player guidance and intuitive interactions to drive engagement. The game developer and I worked closely to make sure the concept aligned with the vision. The final playable ad became a top performer, successfully capturing audience interest and boosting player interaction.
