Scavenger Hunt

AI-enhanced CTV ad blending live action and game visuals.

I was tasked with creating a high-end Connected TV commercial for Scavenger Hunt, a popular game with over 10+ million downloads. The initial concept, inspired by my creative director, revolved around a player searching for their keys, mirroring the game’s hidden object mechanics. Building on this foundation, I wrote the script, which was later approved by my art director and producer.


To ensure the concept fit within the 30-second format, I created an animation using Storyboarder for character placement and MidJourney to generate supporting assets. The background and assets in the animatic were AI generated. Once approved, my producer handled talent casting and location scouting to do a live shoot.


To seamlessly integrate the gameplay visuals, I used MidJourney to transform the realistic background footage into a cartoon-style aesthetic that matched the game’s flat design. I then incorporated this reimagined background into the phone’s screen, in order to make it look closer to the games mechanics. Once I received the final footage, I assembled everything in After Effects, refining the edit, animating key elements, and delivering a polished, cohesive final product


The client was thrilled with the results, successfully capturing the game’s playful and engaging style.
